Get a Slack notification every time you get paid

Give your whole team the same win at the same moment. Connect GetPaidly to Slack and a message drops into your channel the instant a customer pays - no one has to ask "did that invoice clear?" again.

Why connect it

Everyone sees it live
Sales, finance and ops all watch collections land in one shared channel.
Zero cost
Slack incoming webhooks are free and setup takes two minutes.
Only what matters
Pick exactly which events post - just payments, or reminders and new dues too.

Set it up

  1. 1
Go to api.slack.com/apps and click Create New App → From scratch. Give it a name (e.g. “GetPaidly”) and pick your workspace.
  2. 2
In the left menu, open Incoming Webhooks and turn the toggle On.
  3. 3
Click Add New Webhook to Workspace, choose the channel to post in, and click Allow.
  4. 4
Copy the Webhook URL (starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/).
  5. 5
In GetPaidly: API tab → Connect an app → Slack, paste the URL, tick your events, click Connect, then Send test.
Your URL looks like: https://hooks.slack.com/services/T00000000/B00000000/XXXXXXXX

FAQ

Can I use a private channel?
Yes. Point the incoming webhook at any channel you can post to, public or private.
Will it get noisy?
You control it - tick only the events you want, and change them anytime.
Is Slack free for this?
Yes. A Slack incoming webhook is free, and GetPaidly includes the connection on the Business plan.
What if the app is briefly down?
Nothing is lost. We log every delivery and retry automatically (after 1m, 5m, 30m, 2h, 6h). You can also redeliver any event by hand from the API tab.
Which plan do I need?
Integrations are part of the Business plan, alongside the REST API and webhooks.
Is it secure?
Every message is signed (HMAC-SHA256) and you only ever send the events you tick. You can disconnect an app anytime.
